How to Maintain the Surface of Stainless Steel Pots

17-08-2010
I often see people in the mall complaining about surface quality issues with stainless steel pots and pans. The pots I just bought are burned once and turn black and yellow. A good stainless steel pot also requires the correct use and maintenance methods. How to maintain a stainless steel pot is as follows:
1. When purchasing stainless steel cookers, first confirm whether the cooker you purchased is to be burned on a gas stove or an electric stove.
2. The surface treatment of stainless steel utensils is the most common in the market, including polished and sanded surfaces.
1) It is a polished surface. When cleaning, rough white cloth and steel wire should not be used to clean the ball. Soft cloth and sponge should be used to clean the clothes to prevent scratches on the polished surface.
2) It is a sanded surface, which can be cleaned with a cleaning ball or similar, but it is important to clean according to the direction of the sanded line to ensure that the scratched line is in the same direction as the sanded line.
3. Generally, stainless steel pots and pans are mid to high-end products, with stainless steel sheets of 0.7MM or higher. They are made of medical stainless steel and have a bottom made of 430 stainless steel sheets, making them suitable for use in induction cookers. These types of pots and pans are specifically designed for use in induction cookers, and the surface will not turn black or yellow.
Low end stainless steel products generally do not have 430 stainless steel plates, and the plates of the pots are made of ordinary stainless steel materials below 0.5mm, which are used on gas stoves. Some products also have double bottoms that can be used on induction cookers, but they often burn and cause yellow spots inside the pots.
When choosing high-end stainless steel cookware, it is best to have a dedicated stove such as an induction cooker. If it is used on a gas stove, it is recommended that you do not purchase high-end stainless steel cookware. Ordinary iron cookware or aluminum alloy surfaces treated with hard or soft oxygen are suitable and more cost-effective.
